Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional clash of envy and gratitude, using a palette that captures warmth in the reds and pinks, juxtaposed with the muted tones of gray and dark maroon. The outer 8-pixel frame represents pressure and noise through dense, darker colors, while the inner 4x4 space introduces a sense of release with lighter and more vibrant hues. The diagonal rise creates movement, suggesting a journey from tension to a quieter resolution.
