Artist Statement
This piece captures a tug of war between fear and hope through a contrast of dark and light colors. The chosen palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green reflects a journey from dense dark emotions to a hopeful ascent. The arrangement creates tension—dark shapes anchoring the edges, while light colors burst inward, suggesting a release of pressure.
