Artist Statement
This composition reflects the emotional tension between fear and hope. The palette of deep blacks and dark violets represents the weight and uncertainty of fear, while the accents of soft gold and pale green symbolize the glimmers of hope. The outer rows, containing darker colors with jagged edges, establish a sense of being cornered and protected. In contrast, a lighter inner core emerges, showcasing patterns of uplift and mirror-like harmony. The arrangement mimics a visual conflict, where dark corners give way to lighter, flowing centers, echoing the struggle and ultimate rise in hope amidst fear.
