Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional conflict between quietness and pressure. The selected palette includes off-white and faint peach to symbolize calmness, contrasted with compressed red and dark navy to manifest tension. The tension plays out through a checker pattern on the left and an embers pattern on the right, creating a noticeable collision at the center of the grid.
