Artist Statement
The emotional tone embodies a balance between rage and calm. The selected palette of deep reds and blacks juxtaposed with pale blues and whites conveys an intensity in contrasting emotions. The bright pixels, representing spikes of emotion, clash against the darker background, creating an environment of tension and release. This is done in an asymmetric pattern which suggests interruption and collision, highlighting the struggle between light and heaviness.
