Artist Statement
The artwork explores the tension between rage and calm through a contrasting palette of red, black, pale blue, and white. The dominant reds, representing rage, intersect with the cooler calm tones, creating visual friction. The pattern is influenced by broken lines depicting jagged flames, colliding with serene, horizontal 'islands' of pale blue. This results in a central clash of colors, where the chaos of rage erupts against the stability of calm, embodied in a small bright cluster against a darker background, capturing the emotional duality of passion and peace.
