Artist Statement
This composition captures the emotional tension between the warmth of 'spark' and the coolness of 'ash'. The palette was chosen to reflect a dichotomy of feelings—warm reds and pinks (representing sparks of life) contrasting with muted grays and dark maroons (symbolizing ashes of restraint and memory). The main collision occurs at the center where brighter colors ripple outward, echoing resilience amidst fragility, while broken pixels introduce intentional disruption symbolizing the scars of memory and loss. This layout creates a dynamic experience that flows from left to right, presenting a visual narrative of conflict and resolution.
