Artist Statement
This piece explores the tension between loneliness and connection through spatial arrangement and color dynamics. The chosen palette of deep black (#000000), vibrant magenta (#FF00FF), electric blue (#00FFFF), and a bright lime (#00FF00) reflects intense emotional contrasts. The central area, bursting with electric blue, suggests a seed of connection, while fragmented black and magenta edges symbolize the loneliness that surrounds it. The distribution features more concentrated color towards the center, representing the weight and pressure of both emotions in close proximity. Whispers of lime and sudden breaks of blue create a maze-like pattern, emphasizing the complexities of navigating between these states of feeling.
