Artist Statement
This artwork expresses the emotional tension between vulnerability and strength through its color composition. The juxtaposition of deep teal and cosmic indigo serves as a foundation for stability, contrasting against the ephemeral lightness of star white and cold gold. The center of the square features strong, defined blocks to represent strength, while the lighter colors in a patchwork style convey vulnerability through an interruption of the dark, stable tones.
