Artist Statement
This piece explores the emotional spectrum of fear and hope through contrasting jagged and soft patterns within the square. The colors were selected to evoke a sense of rising tension with sharp blacks highlighting fear, while soft golds and pale greens offer glimpses of hope. The interplay between dark corners and lighter central pixels creates an echo of conflict—both emotions vying for presence. The layout features a fragmented center, suggesting the impact of outside pressures enclosing a flicker of inner light. The zigzag formation symbolizes ongoing struggle and resilience in the face of adversity, encapsulating the essence of the seed's themes.
