Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects the dichotomy between vulnerability and strength, using a palette that symbolizes fear and hope: deep blacks and dark violets grounding the composition with a sense of seriousness against soft golds and pale greens that offer a hint of possibility. The primary collision occurs in the center, where strong static patterns clash with soft striped vulnerabilities, creating tension. The pattern of growth and decay suggests braided connections, while negative spaces represent breathing room amidst pressure.
