Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional collision between pride and shame through contrasting colors that reflect tension and relief. The palette of sepia tones and cool blues suggests nostalgia and quiet, while sharp divisions create a pattern of ascent and descent, echoing the flow from bottom to top. The broken pixels introduce imperfection, hinting at the fragility of emotions. The arrangement is intentionally asymmetrical, allowing feelings of pressure to meet with spaces of quiet release, encapsulating the core of the seed’s narrative.
