Artist Statement
This composition embodies the tension between loneliness and connection through a carefully chosen palette of soft pinks and deep maroons, evoking warmth offset by a sense of isolation. The grid structure symbolizes connection, yet is disrupted by fragments of darker tones that suggest feelings of being hidden or separate. The first row creates an emerging pattern, while lower rows fade into an echo, intensifying the contrast and suggesting an emotional burst near the center. The arrangement captures the narrative of search for connection amidst feelings of solitude, where warmth and isolation collide.
