Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between defiance and submission through a carefully chosen palette and strategic pixel placement. The contrast between storm gray and faded gold reflects the struggle between rigid order and fluid chaos. The center is dominated by dark hues, creating a strong, unmoving presence, while lighter shades extrude around the edges to imply submission and the encroachment of chaos. The arrangement evokes a diagonal flow, leading the eye towards the subtle shifts and interruptions that hint at a deeper narrative of conflict and resolution, reflecting the themes of the seed.
