Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a struggle between clarity (signal) and confusion (noise), embodied by a palette of dark navy and bright white. This contrast emphasizes a readable pulse against chaotic, broken patterns. The center of the grid serves as a tension point where these emotions collide. The use of broken pixels introduces disruption, indicating inevitable imperfections, while plenty of negative space allows the pulse to breathe amidst the noise.
