Artist Statement
This artwork explores the tension between clarity and confusion, represented by distinct color blocks that suggest a clear signal amidst a chaotic background. The chosen palette features 'signal green' and 'electric blue' to symbolize clarity and vibrancy, contrasting against 'dead black' and 'static gray' as representations of noise and interference. The primary collision occurs in the center, where the strong green pulse interacts with static imagery, creating a visual echo that resonates with the concept of memory versus erasure. The use of broken pixels introduces intentional imperfections, emphasizing the fragility of the signal. The layout mirrors on either side, with slight disruptions adding to the overall tension and realism of a world caught between chaos and clarity.
