Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a juxtaposition of longing and resolve. The top rows reflect 'longing' using a mix of muted colors (dust gray, off white, faint peach) that pulse with tension, creating an emotional yearning. The bottom rows embrace 'resolve' with deeper, more solid colors (dark navy, compressed red) that signify strength and boundary. The collision occurs at the center where the muted pulses meet the compressed strength, symbolizing the daily struggle between these two emotions. The choice of colors corresponds to the natural transition from softer yearning to firm resolutions, creating a harmonious abstract piece framed by a dynamic edge style that feels alive.
