Artist Statement
The emotional tone struck is one of tension (pressure) contrasted with serenity (quiet). The palette blends deep navy for density and off-white for soft expansiveness, creating a sense of conflict. The main collision occurs at the center, where sharp edges meet soft expanses, embodying the idea of islands of clarity amidst turbulent forces.
