Artist Statement
The artwork captures the emotional interplay between control and surrender, utilizing a palette that oscillates between calmness and urgency. The overfilled corner represents a surge of pressure, signified by saturated colors like alarm red and ink blue, while the quieter, mist gray and pale aqua suggest feelings of release and openness. The dense mass of color collides in the upper left, contrasting dramatically with clear white spaces that signify freedom and quiet. The zigzag flow creates a dynamic rhythm, reflecting the stutter step emotions of both containment and overflow, ultimately creating a complex dialogue of feeling without visual representation.
