Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional struggle between 'longing' and 'resolve'. The palette, derived from warm sepia and cool faded blue, creates a tension that's expressed through a dominant lattice structure representing 'longing' against a spiraled backdrop resembling 'resolve'. The collision occurs in the center where the darker colors break the lighter lattice, mirroring the complexities of emotional thresholds.
