Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes feelings of shelter and vulnerability. A palette of shelter green and warm brown represents stability and warmth, while cold white and open blue introduce feelings of exposure and coolness. The central contrast emerges from a vertical split, with the left side embodying safety through gentle veils of color, and the right side illustrating exposure through sharp, fractal-like sparks.
