Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional clash of longing and resolve through a contrasting palette of muted browns and grays suggesting weight and nostalgia, accented by warm ivory and soft gold. The central collision occurs where warm and cool bands intersect, creating a tension that reflects both the desire for connection and the structure of resolve.
