Artist Statement
The emotional tone contrasts the heaviness of loneliness with the lightness of connection. The palette of lime, black, electric blue, and magenta reflects an interplay of vibrant connections against a backdrop of deep solitude. The top half uses a split screen pattern to emphasize emptiness and isolation, while the bottom half employs stairs to suggest pathways of connection.
