Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional dichotomy of longing and resolve through a tension of warm and cool colors. The palette, derived from 'melancholy_wonder', uses soft cyan and lavender gray to evoke a sense of serenity, while rain blue and muted plum represent the heavier feelings of unresolved longing. The main contrast occurs in the center with overlapping 'thread' and 'shatter' patterns, creating a visual collision between delicate threads and sharp edges. This disruption represents the seed's themes of repair and damage, creating a narrative of hope despite fragmentation.
