Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects the conflict between panic (chaotic bursts of color) and control (smooth, dark hues). The palette of blacks and navy evokes a heavy weight of introspection, while accents of dim cyan represent sparks of thought or emotional bursts. The contrast lies in the rigid structure of dark colors against sporadic lighter sparks, creating a sense of tension and imbalance. The imperfect symmetry and 'broken pixels' suggest that stability is always at the brink of chaos, as represented by the disjointed placement of colors which evoke feelings of both control and upheaval. This interplay captures the essence of the seed's themes without becoming literal or symbolic, instead fostering an abstract dance of emotion.
