Artist Statement
This composition reflects the tension between quietness and pressure through its layout and color choices. The palette of off-white, dust gray, compressed red, dark navy, and faint peach encapsulates this emotional duality; the muted colors symbolize quiet moments while the compressed red provides striking contrast, embodying pressure. The main collision occurs in the central cluster of dense pixels that gradually release towards the outer edges, allowing for negative space to permeate and suggest stillness amidst weight. The diagonal movement inherited from the shape seed emphasizes a dynamic argument, echoing the push and pull inherent in both themes.
