Artist Statement
This artwork captures the tension between longing and resolve through a juxtaposition of soft, muted colors and sharper, more defined ones. The palette primarily consists of muted cream and iron gray, symbolizing restraint and longing, while accents of red oxide and small orange add vibrancy and urgency. The layout features a hollow center that is encircled by these stronger colors, creating a 'halo void' effect.
