Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a duality between trust and suspicion, dynamically represented through contrasting colors and patterns. The palette features deep black and dark violet to symbolize suspicion and unease, while soft gold introduces warmth and hope. The patterned layout uses a split between the structured 'teeth' representation of trust on one side and the fragmented 'frame' of suspicion on the other. The main collision occurs at the diagonal center, where the tension between the two emotions is most pronounced, urging the viewer to navigate their perception of reassurance and doubt.
