Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes clarity against static interference, reflecting the struggle between signal and noise. The palette of 'signal green', 'electric blue', 'hot magenta', with the grounding presence of 'static gray' and 'dead black', creates a visual tension between vibrancy and chaos. The main collision of bright colors occurs in the upper half of the square, where the signal is strongest, gradually transitioning into muted tones below that reflect noise and disruption. The broken pixels introduce intentional scars, enhancing the chaotic feel and ensuring the piece embodies the seed's themes of order versus chaos and the emotional pulse of a machine.
