Artist Statement
The emotional tone of the piece is derived from the tension between clarity (signal) and distortion (noise). The palette, consisting of navy, black, and dim cyan, reflects the depths of memory and the starkness of erasure. The main contrast occurs at the center, where a vibrant 'flame' pattern of bright cyan audibly pulses against the muted 'mirror' noise surrounding it. The placement suggests a survival of clarity amidst chaos, as the echoes and shadows, formed by broken pixels, create a sense of interruption and unresolved motion, visually interpreting the metaphor of 'signal vs noise.'
