Artist Statement
This piece juxtaposes the emotions of longing and resolve through a strategic use of color and arrangement. The palette of deep blacks and pale blues conveys a rich tension—black representing resolve and stability, while pale blue introduces a sense of longing and open space. The central collision of dark tones reflects a sense of containment, while light hues interrupt, representing flow and urgency. The carefully placed broken pixels symbolize the imperfections in both emotions and the duality they represent, creating a sense of harmony amidst conflict.
