Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional dichotomy of trust and suspicion through a contrasting palette and layout. The interplay of cool tones like ice blue and violet gray represents trust, while warning orange and ink black evoke suspicion. The structured but fragmented arrangement, with a dense cluster of dark colors on one side gradually giving way to a lighter field, illustrates the tension between these two emotions. The off-center balance, created by the ‘split_vertical’ format, offers a clear focal point amidst the chaotic interplay of 'soft_glow_vs_hard_shadow', reflecting resilience against fragility at the border. Broken pixels subtly introduce imperfections, enhancing the overall tension and echoing the emotional nuances of the seed.
