Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional juxtaposition of longing and resolution. The palette of lime, black, electric blue, and magenta embodies both the intensity of desire (lime and magenta) and the grounding of resolve (black), creating a dynamic contrast. The main collision occurs centrally, where dense clusters of pulses in lime and magenta interrupt quieter fields of black and electric blue, evoking a sense of chaos within ordered thoughts. The scattered repair layout introduces moments of broken pixels, symbolizing imperfections and the struggle to connect, while maintaining negative space to allow the emotions to breathe.
