Artist Statement
This piece captures the emotional tension of joy and grief, where vibrant yellows and oranges resonate with joy on the right, contrasting with deep blues and muted purples of grief on the left. The warm colors create an energetic pulse, while the cooler tones introduce heaviness. The left side, more chaotic with broken pixels, symbolizes grief and betrayal, disrupting symmetry, while the orderly right exudes joy's brightness. The diagonal flow from left to right enhances this juxtaposition, designed to reflect the beautiful struggle between these emotions.
