Artist Statement
This artwork captures the tension between clarity and confusion through a split layout where the top half represents structured clarity and the bottom half embodies chaotic confusion. The palette of sepia, tan, and faded blue reflects a sense of nostalgia and memory, while the crosshatch pattern in the lower half contrasts with the framing clarity of the upper half. Broken pixels disrupt the symmetry, representing emotional collisions and the inherent imperfection of memories.
