Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes loneliness against connection, utilizing a palette of warm oranges and yellows amid cool deep blues and muted purples to evoke warmth yet maintain a sense of distance. This artwork's contrast occurs in the center where dense orange bursts clash against an outer perimeter of cool blue hues, representing barriers to connection surrounded by warmth and light.
