Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects the tension between 'emptiness' and 'desire.' The palette includes vibrant colors like hot coral and blood orange representing desire, juxtaposed against the cooler, muted tones of charcoal and hollow blue, embodying emptiness. The contrast mainly occurs in the central area where warm colors collide with cooler ones, suggesting an overwhelming pull toward fulfillment restrained by an invisible border. The arrangement of colors follows a broken mirror layout with intentional interruptions, creating a sense of desperation amidst quiet pressure, echoing the spiral motion suggested in the seed.
