Artist Statement
This piece explores the emotional spectrum of longing and resolve, capturing the tension between the two states through color and arrangement. The palette, derived from 'safety_exposure', employs a cool softness (shelter_green, cold_white) juxtaposed with warmer tones (warm_brown, pale_skin) to evoke a feeling of serenity amidst urgency. The predominant presence of muted greens and browns reflects longing, while the fragments of brighter colors represent moments of resolve. The pixel arrangement features scattered patches that collide with intentional broken pixels, symbolizing the journey from damage to repair and the fragmented nature of emotions.
