Artist Statement
This piece conveys the tension between awe and terror through a contrasting palette of warm yellows and oranges against deep blues and muted purples. The organization reflects a 'rising signal' layout, signaling hope and upward movement, yet is marred by broken pixels that evoke a sense of instability and disorder. The stripes symbolize awe while the scattered dots mimic the chaos of terror.
