Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional tension between rage and calm using a palette of deep blacks and soft blues. The warm, jagged reds suggest explosive outbursts juxtaposed against cool, calming blue channels that provide an ambient contrast. The collision occurs in the center, where the sharp zigzag patterns cut through the smoother areas, creating a visual stutter that reflects inner turmoil. The idea of the 'knot' is represented through dense clusters of colors interweaving yet not fully connecting, suggesting a struggle for containment amidst overflow. Intentional broken pixels serve as disruptions, adding coherence to the chaotic interplay of emotions.
