Artist Statement
This composition reflects the emotional duality of signal versus noise. The chosen palette of vibrant greens and electric blues represents the clear pulse of signal, while the static gray and dead black evoke the overwhelming presence of noise. The central pulse of color contrasts sharply against the quieter edges, creating visual tension. The layout plays with symmetry, introducing ‘broken’ elements on the sides to symbolize the interference that disrupts clarity, embodying the essence of the seed's themes of exposure vs. shelter and memory vs. erasure. The design incorporates negative space, allowing for breathing room amidst the chaos, reinforcing the emotional dialogue of conflict and harmony.
