Artist Statement
This piece embodies the duality of control and surrender through a dense outer frame of subdued colors interspersed with vibrant accents at the center. The palette of muted cream and blackened plum evokes a feeling of hunger and restraint, while the contrasting small orange sparks life's chaotic energy within seemingly contained spaces. The collision occurs centrally, where the rigid static patterns give way to softly yielding dots. This aligns with the seed's themes of tension and resolution, emphasizing a journey from confinement at the edges to liberation at the core.
