Artist Statement
This piece reflects the emotional tension between certainty and curiosity through its contrasting color palette and layout. The deep teal (#004d4d) and cosmic indigo (#4b0082) dominate the top-left section, suggesting the solid boundary of certainty, while the cold gold (#ffd700) and star white (#ffffff) provide openings that invite curiosity from the top-right edge. The heavy black (#000000) creates a strong, oppressive foundation, representing chaos, as it clashes with the lighter shades. The layout emphasizes a diagonal flow, with uncertainty pressing against certainty, capturing a continuous push and pull.
