Artist Statement
This piece explores the juxtaposition of softness and severity through a palette that balances gentle powder pink and warm white with the starkness of carbon black and sharp crimson. The placement of the lighter tones against darker ones creates a sense of tension, illustrating the emotional collisions described by the seed. The main contrast occurs in the center, where a dense cluster of warm tones disrupts the surrounding darker grid-like structure, visualizing the pulse of emotions echoing outwards. The pattern reflects a spiral motion, suggesting a continuous interplay between forgiveness and guilt, embodying both emotional peril and resolution.
