Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional dichotomy of longing versus resolve, using colors that capture warmth and coolness in a dynamic dance of closeness and distance. The palette features warm coral and soft amber representing longing, contrasted with cold slate and blue-black, symbolizing resolve. The broken pixels intentionally disrupt the flow, embodying the imperfections of both emotions. The main contrast occurs centrally, suggesting a collision between stable resolve and the pulsing uncertainty of longing, evoking a narrative of seeking and grounding within a contained space.
