Artist Statement
The emotional tone grapples with the duality of loneliness and connection, captured through a tapestry of warm colors representing ancient fire. The palette of burnt orange, dark red, charcoal, and gold portrays both warmth and isolation, with darker shades signifying loneliness, while brighter patches suggest connection. The arrangement forms clusters toward the corners (corner_invasion layout), creating a sense of pressure that contrasts with negative space in the center—a representation of hidden vs. exposed. The burst flow pattern reflects sudden connections amid feelings of isolation. The broken pixels throughout evoke imperfection, enhancing the theme of fragility in human emotions.
