Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional dichotomy of relief and dread through spatial density and color contrast. The chosen palette of pale mint and faded gold offers both chakra lightness and muted heaviness, suggesting a reminder of warmth amidst shadow. The grid displays a heavy cluster of dark tones in the upper left, contrasting with the lighter, more liberated elements towards the bottom right, symbolizing a whispered exhale amidst impending turmoil. Main collisions occur through an interplay of broken pixels and dense clustered dots that symbolize echoes of tension, representing fractures in a structured emotional landscape. This duality shapes an incomplete yet harmonious journey across the square, echoing the theme of spiraling emotions released within a fragmented framework.
