Artist Statement
The emotional tone emerges from the contrast between trust and suspicion, represented by a delicate balance of pattered colors. The palette of pink, red, gray, and dark maroon suggests warmth juxtaposed with an underlying intensity, enabling a feeling of emotional collision. The abstract pattern consists of 'dots' on one side symbolizing suspicion, while the 'teeth' structure on the other side implies trust. The flow from top to bottom creates a sensation of gradual pressure, with a few broken pixels introducing imperfection, subtly reminding us of the tension inherent in emotion.
