This piece explores the emotional dichotomy of joy and grief through an asymmetrical layout that reflects a rise on one side and descent on the other, embodying the push-pull dynamic of these feelings. The palette includes bright yellows and oranges representing joy alongside muted blues and purples depicting grief, visually creating a contrast of expanding warmth versus deep withdrawal. Broken pixels introduce imperfection, emphasizing the unpredictability of emotions, while strategic placement leverages negative space to evoke feelings of both isolation and connection.
