Artist Statement
This composition explores the duality of vulnerability and strength. The color palette, titled 'melancholy_wonder,' leverages soft, muted tones to evoke a sense of tenderness contrasted with deeper blues and purples that evoke strength and density. The layout evokes a falling pattern to symbolize an emotional descent or tear, while maintaining open space to represent safety. The deliberate placement of broken pixels offers a disruption, enhancing the feeling of imperfection and highlighting the fragility within strength. The main collision occurs at the center with a dense accumulation of color that contrasts the lighter pixels around it, suggesting a struggle between exposure and protection.
